Many physical disabilities, like Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), CVA (cerebral vascular accident), Autoimmune Disease,
Arthritis
and Parkinson’s disease, have symptoms such as tremors, spasticity, rigidity of muscles and uncoordinated movements. Loss of balance, slowness of movement and inability to walk, as well as pain and stiffness of muscles throughout the body are also symptoms of these conditions. Many developmental disabilities also have physical symptoms, but may be commonly accompanied by emotional and behavior problems. DBT has a criteria for all perspective DBT clients to better ensure safer and effective Advanced Bodywork.

1. Clients must be 21 years old or older.

2. Clients must be medically stable.

3. Clients must be able to roll side to side with one person assist.

4. Clients guardian or caregiver must be present for entire treatment session.
